To add my fifty cents to this subject as I was a former list administrator at one time.

Most people have said what I have already wanted to say about this subject.  I agree that we have been on topic for the most part and this is a list with mainly responsible adults on it and it runs amazingly well on it's own.  I much enjoyed the analog of a tire being guided by a stick.

My suggestion to the current moderator and to future moderators would be to use the words of wisdom from a season three episode of Futurama.  The best way to deal with people is to use a light touch so they will neither lose hope nor become dependent. "When you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all."
