John, in 2004, I took my '84 into the best body shop I could find here
in Macon, GA, along with all the replacement body rubber I could buy
(most came from The Bus Depot).  For a reasonable price (especially
considering everything else I had done to the van in 2003), it came out
of the shop looking like it had just come from the factory.  Sometimes
it is better to leave things to the people who are doing the work for a
living.  Now, if I could just ramp up my consulting business and find
someone qualified to redo the interior.
