The difference is small but real. When my TR 16 steelies arrived a few weeks ago they came with new lug bolts to match. Comparing how one of those fit the hole versus how a Vanagon lug bolt fit showed the distinction. Of course the ones that came with were for 12mm thread and thus useless to me. Mark
