One more thought on the stock jack, mine is actuated with the same socket for doing the lug nuts. If I'm at home I use the impact gun, I dial it down just to keep it slow but zip up goes one side and I put a jack stand in. Then go to the other side and do it again, fast and easy. The easiest way if I am doing it out on the gravel driveway. I do need to watch the top of the jack and the body of the VW.

I had a scissors jack that I could use the impact on but that went with a car, maybe I'll look again the next time I'm at a wrecking yard. Air power is great!
