Sometimes the bolt holes in the wheels, even though made for 12 mm wheel studs or bolts, are large enough so a 14mm vanagon bolt or stud will still fit. 70's era, 14 inch steel Benz rims, while they go on a car with 12 mm wheel bolts, the holes in the wheels are big enough to fit vanagon anyway.
