85 Wolfsburg Westies are a special case, since stock they ride high in the front. I put 85 GL springs in the front of my 85 Wolfy ...................... Ooops..........do you mean Weekender or Westfahlia.? Mine is an 85 Wolfsburg Weekender, without full kitchen, but it says 'Westfahlia' on the pop top. so some might call that a Westy, I call it a Weekender.

I can't say about 85 Worlfsburg Weshfahlia's, but I can say for sure the 85 Wolfsburg Weekender is high in the front stock. 85 GL used front springs made mine 'normal' and perfectly level. I just went out and measured 15 3/5 on the passener's side, and 16 inches on the driver's side ( no human bodies on board ) , in the front. 18.5 sounds way high to me. I'd get that down, unless you like it that way. I don't like the high in the front look, if anything, I want a lower in the front look , if it's not going to be level. And 14 inches sounds quite low to me. scott ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris S" <szpejankowski@GMAIL.COM> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Tuesday, December 23, 2008 3:22 PM Subject: Re: Purple springs from H&R
