Yes, Vanagon wheels are Not hub Centric. The wheels and mounting system is designed that way.

true, true.........but many vanagons are running around centered on just their lug bolts or nuts, without apparent harm. Even the stock 14 inch steelies are not hub centric.....( I just looked at one ) they're lug bolt/nut centric.

I really like REAL vanagon wheels, ( wheels actually MADE for vanagons ) and was/am about to go for a set of these 16's .........the ball seat radius thing being different bothers me, though the right lug bolts or nuts are avaiable............and too bad they're 17 mm instead of 19mm hex head wheel mounting bolts.
