Subject: Air Cooled Beetle List??
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Good Friday Morning!

I bought my 16 year old son a 1974 Beetle for Christmas. It is in good shape, but will need some work and TLC to get it going. He won't be getting his driver's licence for about 9 months, so he is going to learn the fine points of VW repair and maintenance from me and John Muir. He's done some minor work (oil changes, greasing wheel bearings) on my 1956 Beetle, so he should be able to take it to the "next level" with the 74.

One of the things I want him to do is to get on to an air-cooled VW beetle list so he can build up a "support system". Years ago (early 90s), I was on one, but I'm not sure if the list still exists, or if there are any newer lists. Does anyone know of a decent A/C Beetle list?

Thanks in advance.

Ric
