Butchery!

That's a narrow-bodied Estima. None of these ever had export "Previa" badges.

Wide-bodies were exported as Previa or Tarago (Australia) but were of course sold as Estima in Japan.

The differences between wide & narrow cars were in the center of the front floorpan, dash, seats, tailgate, front panels (including fenders) and bumpers as well as inner taillights and front lights. Otherwise they are identical. All narrow-bodies were 8-seaters. Narrow-bodies got several facelifts before production ceased in 1999, which involved bumpers, tailgate and all lights; the widebody got none apatrt from bumper and one grill update (and I've only seen ONE of the alternative grills). -- Andrew Grebneff Dunedin, New Zealand Fossil preparator Mollusc, Toyota & VW van nut
