Hi Scott,

The problem with a D/S filling cap is that if that if/when you run out of fuel you are going to wind up standing in traffic while you refuel with a jerrycan. Passenger side refuelling is a LOT safer.

I wind up in rental cars quite often due to my work; I am always quite pleased that modern vehicles usually have an indicator in the fuel gauge that tells me which side of the car has the filler cap.
