Heh. Maybe 500 miles on the rebuilt stereo...

Mmmmm..... gigantic blue LED subwoofers cluttering the passenger compartment. Woo. Auto audio electronics equipment is way overpriced. I'd never buy a car for just the audio setup. I'm really not a "boomin' stereo" kinda guy anyway. I'm an obsessive engine sound listener, and music would only get in the way of that, so what do I know about the importance of thumpin' bass?.

My guess is that Carfax only knows that the L and GL were offered that year under that VIN, so the "GL/L" means "either-or"

I think the upholstery looks nice, but my primary concern with any Vanagon I'd buy is mechanical. Perhaps this is just my old-fart prejudices emerging, but I don't have much optimism about the mechanical savvy of those dopey kids who drive around on tires that are too small with stereos that are too loud. Also, a dozen pictures of the paint job (cough)overspray(cough) and the interior, but none of the engine? Just sounds like a case of "I dunno, the mechanic who rebuilt it said he did a good job" to me...
