Volks-

If any of you have been on Ebay lately, you've likely run across this '85 GL: * http://tinyurl.com/9hxadf*

VIN: WV2YB0258FH048704

Not that I'm necessarily in the market for a new Vanagon, but I always keep my ear to the ground for a good deal.

First off, does this belong to anyone on the list? Second, has anyone on the list bid on it?

Curious about a few things: 1) Mileage: 500 Miles? Nahhhh ! ! ! ! -Red flag? 2) Current high bid is $4,050 with less than 8 hours left? -Electronics alone are more, and the interior is brand new and VERY custom. 3) Clicking on the history report tab shows the following for the Year/Make/Model: *1**985 Volkswagen Vanagon GL / L* -I've never heard of the "GL / L" model. Is this an "L" that's been upgraded and being passed-off as a "GL"?

If anyone's got Carfax, morbid curiosity has gotten the best of me. I have to know if there's something bad that's being blatantly left out of the description.

-Drew, Las Vegas '90 GL "Blackbeard"
