That does not necessarily mean they are good batteries-in fact, I've heard the opposite. Just means that they were either low bid or Bush and/or Cheney have a piece of the company. Back in the 70s and 80s GTE was a big supplier of telecommunications gear to the US military-and GTE made the worst telecom equipment EVER. I know because I worked for GTE at the time. Jeff |
