"can't repair"???? How about looking in the phone book for a battery shop?  They sell and maintain batteries for industry or even vanagon owners.  I'm sure they can repair it or tell you how.   Do you think they throw away a $2,000 fork lift battery pack just because it has a tiny hole drilled in it?? Ask an expert.   Related topic: when I picked up my Vanagon starter from my local starter/alternator shop, guy told me the OPTIMA batteries were scarce because of military use right now...   Good Luck, Chris C 90 MV     > Is there a way to repair a hole I my battery, I drilled a 1/8 in. hole in > the side of my battery near the bottom by mistake, is there anyway to > repair > it.
