I run the Yokohama 356, "D" on my 84 Westy, the 14" tires are really quite on the ride as well. They are a "summer" tire, and have very low roll resistance. http://tinyurl.com/7pptvb if you are selling the van the "C" tires are good enough at $68 each, and actually provide a little smoother ride. The "D" tires will give you a little better cross wind handling.

Tirerack usually get me tires in two days. Then I go to the local Wall-mart, as they will mount "carry in" tires cheap!

The perfect tire for this predicament is the Yokohama 356 Super van that you can get from the www.tirerack.com for low money. They are a load range C tire and I really like them ( I run them on my vans). Tirerack always has them in stock so they are quick and easy to get. Just line up a local shop that is willing to install them. You should be able to find this tire listed under Vanagon on their site.

Hope this helps, Ken Wilford John 3:16 www.vanagain.com
