that's a good point, about letting the new owner get the tires they want. Of course worn-to-threads ties are a dead tip-off that the whole vehicle is likely neglected, if not also abused.

and .............when you see new cheap tires on a vehicle for sale, it's a dead tip-off that the vehicle's not been taken care of, and that's one thing they could do that's cheap to make it look good easily. New cheap tires are a bright red flag on any vehicle for sale.

But, a 90 Weekender is a very desirable Vanagon in my opinion , *very* desirable, and representing it truthfully, is not a bad idea. Or offer in the ad two prices, one with current tires, one with 'real' vanagon tires installed. Hey, I've got a set of "P" tires that are brand new, basically, on a vanagon, I'll sell the set cheap.
