Any halfway-decent locksmith can check the lock tumblers out and make a key for it. I've had it done.

Beware that tiny screw... when I changed the lock in my 84's slider handle (the old handle brojke, of course) it was a successful transplant... until the damn screw came loose and the lock fell out.
