> A word to the wise; you get what you pay for. You can say that again. It pays to pay a little more sometimes. I had an adequate LCD monitor, but the camera that came with it was a joke. You'd think all little CCD vehicle cameras are about the same, but when I sprang for the $120 wide-angle Kenwood camera (model CCD-900 I think), I was amazed by the difference. I suspect the CCD sensors are all about the same, but the lenses vary greatly. That little Kenwood is so good that it not only allows me to see my rear bumper (great for parallel parking) but the width visible is so great that it's effectively eliminated my blind spots. -- John Bange '90 Vanagon - "Lastwagen" '90 Vanagon GL - "Wiesel" |
