That looks pretty cool.

I am not sure I'd recommend blue for an awning though, unless you plan to make it fully opaque. I used to have a blue awning a few years ago, the remaining light that penetrated it made your morning coffee a terrible shade of grey-green. And on a bright day you would still go home sunburned, even if you had stayed in its shade all day long. Afer only one season of camping with the "Blue Sky", I replaced the tarp with a white one.

My "white-sky", OTOH, is made from the same material but it seems to do a much better job of blocking the UV rays, and it doesn't affect my colour sense while under it, either. I also find that the white underside reflects light back down on my campsite quite nicely, and I can illuminate a large area quite nicely with a mere 110W of ropelight.
