Hi Roger Ive taken most of everything you have stated into consideration The material is a Polyester backing with a 2 ply Resin coating. It will Burn but does Pass MVSS-302 Motor vehicle safety standard for Fire retardant items. Of course you could burn anything if you let it. Most of the time you would get a Burn hole in it from sparks/ fire crackers. and such. As with any material you can light it and watch it go up. As with the angles and tensions it must be set up and tensioned to withstand the wind. If you do not tension it properly It WILL go flying. The Anchor points have a 1100 pound pull strength on the ground and are low trip hassard as well as easy to remove and install into dirt/soil. If wishing to set up on pavement you will have to tie it off to some structure or Vehicle to get it up to proper tension. This product is based on Tension and if it is not kept at tension it will flutter in the wind like a blue tarp on the freeway. ( well not that bad ) Im using the same type of idea We Or I used when I was in the Navy on a Aircraft Carrier and had to tie down Heli blades to pad eyes in High winds accross the flight deck. This type of knot is EASY to do and VERY Strong. It can be put up quickly and taken down quickly and due to the weight of the material it is not hard to handle since it is only 6.5 oz per yard. Strength to wt ratio is fantastic and comes with a 3 year manufacturer warranty. Ive set it up by myself and taken it down a few times and it seems once the canvas part is dialed in it should be a pc of cake for most anyone to set up and take down by themselves. The other bonus is very little hardware to store and the canvas due to it being light wt but strong can fold up to about the size of a overnight bag or 4 loafs of bread. Less the poles of course. I have had Awnings and I make loads of Boat tops as well as many other canvas type products and fully understand that if it aint tight it aint right. My customers use there boat tops not only for basic protection and storage but to fly down the freeway at 70mph plus. Once this one is cut down to a proper working size it should make alot more sence and be alot more user friendly. This one is a Rough cut unfinished ultra light wt material only used for playing with not the actual fabric. Again Thank you Vary much for you input and comments. Jonce
