We inherited JoesVan from Nancy's grandfather in 2002. (Our 1st Bus!) Went looking for info on Vanagons on the web shortly after. Found a one page, no link webpage for the very first Buses by the Beach at Hoffmaster State Park in Muskegon. Michigan. There were 7 buses there. I distinctly remember Todd Olson telling me about the list a great resource for first-timers and old veterans.

I been on the list since then and have received some great advice and entertainment. Still hard to believe the adventures we have had and the very cool friends we have made. We have a couple list members stop by and camp on our 5 acres. People who don't own buses think you are crazy when you tell them someone you never met is going to come stay with you for a while. Our work for the Phoenix Society for Burn Survivors has been one of the most surprising and satisfying things to come along in our lives. JoesVan still carrying us to new adventures at 147,000 miles. Long live the list and our Vanagons!
