I'll have to also second the idea of replacing all the lines in the engine
bay. I was told by the PO of my van that the fuel lines had been completely
replaced. He knew I intended to carry my family and dogs in it. I found a
leak while I was inspecting the van. Some of the lines had been changed and
I took him at face value.

Later that week (4 hours away from the previous owner) I found other hoses
that looked dry upon my initial inspection, but now they were wet and
leaking. In fact one was so bad that it sprayed fuel out in a stream. Kinda
scary, if the engine had been running and this had happen it may have very
easily caught fire.
