see my post a bit ago. there is no need to put in a piece of pipe. if you do that you have 3 clamped junctions.

if you do what I suggested..............you have one, which I hope is obvious ........and is more desirable. , 1 rather than 3. the fewer junctions, clamps, and connections, the better. Scott www.turbovans.com
