I don't recall when I joined, but had been around for a while when the list sticker event/fiasco/war started. I recall there was a member up in Utah who threw up his hands in frustration (herding cats, anyone?). We formed a committee and beat the monster until it bled stickers. That was a member in the LA area, myself, and Frank Condelli - maybe a couple others.

I used to compare the list to a large family gathering, with all the weird uncles (no, not Joel), complaining nephews, etc. I hope that feeling will return. I appreciate the job done by Jim as list mother, and hate the possibility of our relatively unmodertaed list descending into chaos, but also hope in the future to be able to have a discussion with listmembers/friends about whatever subject grows from our discussions. Oh yeah; avoiding politics or religion.
