I have not seen a person with the van and leaving a note might creep some recipients out.  At least he's driving it, unlike the decent blue '85 hardtop nearby that's busy becoming a shed.   Stephen

Perhaps you could have introduced yourself, told him about the list and let him know that there is a community to which he can turn for support. Perhaps he and his van could benefit from the information.
