Subject: Need Euro Planner
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

Now that 2009 is here I'm going to start planning for spring and summer weekend westy trips. I started advance planning last spring instead of procrastinating and it worked out great as opposed to our usual "wait until Saturday morning to make a plan routine". I used a book type planner last year.  It was OK, but I really need MORE room for the weekend and LESS for the week days.  I want Friday, Saturday and Sunday to be together like many European calendars are. This leaves me with more room on Fri-Sat-Sun to write in things, places, times, notes, phone numbers, directions, etc.  Yea, I know I can write over the weekdays with notes, but I need to see things visually in order for planning.  Know of anything? Or program to make my own to print?  A planner book is handy to bring along.   Last spring when I sifted through things to do (Wisconsin / Michigan) and when they happen, it was more difficult than I had thought.  Some clubs and community groups seem to "spam" the regional message boards.  Theater groups seem to be the most prolific spammers.  The official state sponsored Web sites are very good.  Oh yea, I have almost every book I can find on Wisconsin places--conventional and unusual.   We have seen a great deal of things and interesting stuff in Wisconsin, if anyone knows of something a young family should check out within about 300 miles of Green Bay, drop me a p-mail and I'll try to pre-plan.  I really want to see a rare Hodag in the Rhinelander, Wisconsin area this year.  After all, our Vanagon's P.O. had the plates "HODAG" when we bought it 7 years ago.   Chris C 90 Mulitvan
