well we can't start out the new year being nazi's about missing information
that's important,  and the guy is probably freaked out some,
and figures that 'everyone' just knows what model vanagon he/she/they drive
anyway.

but the image I got.......was the metal pipe going to the right of the water
pump on a 1.9 ........and I  I've 'seen those rusted.....
it could easily be the bigger metal pipe on the left, on a 2.1........
and they rust too, but not as easily I don't think, generally speaking.

hey........at least he said WHERE he is !!!
that's great progress, compared to some pleas for help or a part.

At least we know it's a vanagon, it's water -cooled and WHERE ......
that's 3 out of 4 pieces of needed info.
what the heck.........that's close enough !
