dear new owners after we bought our van we were followed by several different years of different models of vans -- twice two diesel vanagons cornered us in an alley and made us swear we would not join their list as our van is a late 80's van and clearly did not meet the north american import rules-- shortly after that a small group of joker model europeon vanagons approached us just outside a night club we ran away in fear that this would be another early model diesel routing ...it should be noted that one of those was a right hand drive vehicle--

now unsure of where to turn next and certainly a few years before google had morphed from simple evilmail to world dominant demagouge we began to explore the internet for a knowledgeable group of vanagon owners who could give us support ...

the first group we joined appeared to be led by some sort of cult like leader who wanted us to come with him in his "Magic Bus" to some city in germany ... he said that if we pooled our lot with him he would make sure we got to this fabled city of Transporters although not on the status of the holy city of bethlehem it was rumored to be the bith place of our beloved ride-- we had to leave that group after the meeting where everyone was requested to fuel up from special tanks at the front of the room...

after cruising around alone for sometime-- we began to here rumbles of a list run by an uncontroled server-- this storied list was reported to have a pope like oversear who threatened bannishment and often sternly wagged his finger at "off topic discussion" we required this sort or guilt ridden obsession with detailed regulations-- our lives had been lacking structure-- we joined this list of our own free will ... but soon found that one list was not enough and due to our location we would be required to keep abreast of local regional bipartisan movements --- this neccessitated joining another more liberal list--- one that practiced worship in the rain, tolerated snow and often parked unprotected in the sun

we have found a combination of the lists has helped us to remain sane
