Thank you for all the great information. Now I have another question dealing with the fuel lines before the pump.

SO, If I read "Olds" post correctly. The line before the plastic (square filter) carrries no pressure so it is safe to use a non FI fuel line. So it is safe to say then that I can use a similar type of line between the filter and the fuel pump?
