Hey All, Thanks to mark Drillock for clarifying a few things for me on this situation. We were able to get this figured out and we have successfully disabled the Buzzer. The key is this (and forgive me I don't have the Bently with me to give page nymbers exactly - I think Mark referenced page 90.23): '86 and up Gauge There are a total of 6 pins on the back of the speedo housing. They are grouped as a set of four and then a set of two (from left to right looking towards the front of the bus). In the bently they are numbered from 6 - 1 left to right. 6. Terminal 1 5. Ground 4. Oil Warning Light 3. + 2. 0.3bar oil sensor 1. 0.9bar If you want to install this '86 and up gauge into an '85 or older you have to carefully bend pin #6 out of the way so it no longer makes connection. This will take care of the problem. Thanks again for everyone's help with this. -- Thanks, Jeff '90 Carat (Grover) '86 (We call this one Parts) '78 Bus (Melissa) Patty's Bus |
