Dear Potent Elect
What a good idea ... Ben T is likely as good as any other person who is
willing to step up and
attempt to take on the ethereal position of moderator ...
hmmm well ...
there are many good things about this ...
the individual and personal not-with-standing ...
1. Does the list have a charter or constitution ...
(a list of ideas or regulations or guidelines that govern the decisions of
the moderator)
2. Is there a clear guide to what can cause moderator to sanction or kick a
person ...
3. who moderates the moderator
4. does the sanctioned or penalized have any place to turn for regress or
appeal
6. how does the list terminate a moderator if they have become too
immoderate
7. How long does a moderator moderate for 5 years .. till they resign (in
disgust)
Voting is easy once some of those core issues are addressed .. simply create
a google web page ... install a vote button with the following questions
1. Should the List be moderated .. Yes .. No
If no then end of discussion
If yes then
Vote for ...
Person 1
Person 2
Person 3
Voting ends on March 17 to give all a chance to vote who may be away on life
or business
March 18 all hail the new Chief (May He Live Forever)
Good luck Ben T
yours

There are two kinds of jobs in the world:
Picking up garbage and telling people things.
Successful people do both, with the same good attitude. (riw)
