Updating older programs to the Vista standard as a programmer: Vista does stink, because user permissions are tightly enforced. Also, unless you download the old help program, you are stuck with using HTML Help (not that bad because it accepts UTF-8). Also, some of the handles are changed, and others are thrown away. And that's not the half of it. </rant>

Using Vista as an end-user on a 64-bit system: Vista has been *the most stable* version of Windows I have used.

If you are using a version of Vista other than Ultimate, please upgrade. :D
