dear nomenclatureists

interestingly enough the word for wind is the same word for spirit which are all interchangeable with soul in some languages -- so naming vehicles after wind names is actually naming vehicles after the potential new owner's imagined ideal of their self-- whether you lean toward the fairy land or some sort of ecclesiastical ideas --- or something darwinian or modern archetype psychoanalytical ideas -- or even kitschy terms that are actually 200 years old --or more --- like Outback or hybrid Outlander -- the latter being an excellent scifi trilogy from cs lewis --

of course you guys already knew all that stuff and are simply having fun and this is that ---

which brings me around to vanagon ... which speaks volumes in the silence of its name -- volumes about the owners being ready to tackle nearly any community crises except a tree falling on vehicle -- at the very least it speaks of an owner who is deeply concerned with how things work and keeping them that way --

I would imagine if they namers had been reading Jack London's The Iron Heel they would have named the vanagon -- Ernest Everhard -- after the main hero in that dystopian tale yours
