Just catching up on 800 messages over the past week. My wife had a little girl (Heidi Peace Palmer, 6 pounds 6 ounces, our first) on January 3. For christmas my wife put the car seat adaptor from Go Westy in my stocking. Yay! Everyone is healthy and the kid is super cute if i do say so myself.

I just searched the archives to find my first post from December 1999. I had no idea I've been around for 9 years. I've had my 85 Westfalia since 1993, and before that I had a 73 bus with the Safari (Safare?) conversion. 15 years of Vanagon ownership. And I'm only 37 as well as David Marshall, although my birthday is coming up in July.

Hope everyone had a wonderful New Year. I did!
