If you squint you'll see the Vanagon models used in the Lynn Cove viaduct architectural model, which coincidentally is located at the Lynn Cove viaduct visitor's center near Grandfather Mountain, NC A German firm was contracted to develop it and naturally used Vanagon, Porsche 356 and Golf Cabriolet models in the mock-up.
