I live in Edmonton, AB. Does this mean that (unlike the US and Europe, I can't buy insurance from an agent or company out of province?

In Germany I had Axa in northern Germany even though I lived in Bayern. In the US I had Safeco, which is nationwide. (Some people report bad experience with Safeco, but at least I got good rates in Rocherster NY: $100/6mo each both Westy and a Passat I had at the time. Never had a claim so don't know who they would be then)

Not retired yet. Wife thinks my early retirement at 40 wont support her shopping desires... Still I guess I won;t get the retired rate until 60.

Someone locally once told me about antique car insurance in the province, but I didn't find out names of agents and underwriters. This might work as the age of the Westy (1982) seems to be considered beyond retirement (unlike me). Any agents in Edmonton, Calgary dealing with this?
