IIRC, back in my days on the type2 list, it was split up into shifts, 3, maybe 4 shifts per day. But another potential problem mentioned here earlier existed on type2. I was threatened with banishment from type2 one time because I posted a message about a Coleman propane heater. I got a rather nasty email from a list admin informing me that "propane heaters are not VW buses" (thanks for clearing that up, I used to get the two confused) and if I did it again I'd get kicked off. I emailed him back, telling him that a lot of (air-cooled) bus owners used propane heaters not only for camping but for heat while driving, too. He wouldn't budge, no more propane heater posts or I'd be kicked off. Few days later the very same admin is posting messages about bike racks and other assorted crap HE deemed appropriate. I have no doubt he is the president of a home owners association somewhere today, and enjoying telling folks their shutters are the wrong shade of off white.     Jeff
