I have my 88GL insured with American Modern Insurance out of Cincinnati. $172/year with a 3000 mile/yr mileage limit. Was thinking about increasing to the 6K mile limit for 2009 but I didn't put 3,000 miles on Guido last year. Mine is insured under American Modern's "Classic" policy. From what I understand you can increase the mileage limit at any time. I insured Guido for $8,000.

I had State Farm before. They would not guarantee anything over NADA retail value. I quit State Farm fast.

JB 88GL Guido

that sounds great Daryl........ but I'm curious about the miles limit. I kinda have a 'problem' with the notion that I can't drive over say, 6,000 miles a year. Just doesn't feel right, to be restricted that way - though obviously it saves money and gives you high coverage should the Big Bad thing occur. Can't complain about the price, that's for sure.

oh........and no other restrictions about use ? .......... you can use it 'just anywhere, anytime, for any reason. " ?
