Chris,

In my line of work, we often deal with this thing called dual agency. We are reminded of how important it is that we remain unbiased towards each client, each time we handle a contract. I fact they reinforce this in continuing education classes every so often. Everytime we meet a client the first thing we do is make them sign a disclosure, not just top tell them their rights but also to remind ourselves of our duty. Yet after 20 years of doing all of the above, I cannot say we all manage to remain completely unbiased. The person who tells you the contrary is probably not being completely truthful. It's just human nature. However, as civilized people go, we fight our impulses and inherent tendencies when dealing with one another. Some do it better than others.
