Thanks, Ben, for the reply. I am in the Bay Area. I guess I need to keep the original air filter box for now. I will talk to the smog check shop that I am a frequent customer there. I am sure they will tell me if I can replace the air box in order to easily find air filters locally. Well, my next smog check won't be due almost 2 years from now. I will talk to the technician there if I happen to go by there. I will report back here when if I heard anything positive. David
