Mike, I know Kim Springer's white 2wd Tristar is the white one with steel gates and canvas canopy. The other white Tristar with aluminum gates and cab-height Vindic (Swedish) belongs to Stacy Schneider. He recently added those nice gates. The third Tristar belongs to Shaun. It was originally a RHD Syncro from the UK. Shaun converted it to LHD and also recently put on those aluminum gates. The canvas looks like the German variety. It was nice to see a trio of Tristars in one place. Sorry but my 2wd Doka that I was going to drive coughed up oil before I could get to BV. I was fashionably late around 6-ish. I thought there would still be plenty of folks hanging out like usual. This is the first time I've been to BV and left before the 10pm parking lot closing. I'll try to get there earlier next time suitably driven in a VW T3. Thanks for waiting for me to get there.=)
My best, BenT |
