Jonce,

I pmailed this information to Matt but I suppose it is useful to the newbies to the group.

Coyote owns the domain, the server, and the pipeline for vanagon.com He always has. It used to be in his loft San Francisco before his move shortly after the dot.com bust. It now resides in a cozy closet in his new home in Sausalito.

Coyote sold his Syncro Westy and essentially lost interest in the Vanagon scene. He was solicited by a few Listees about donating vanagon.com to the list. He said something to the effect that if someone would put together a non-profit corporation to assume ownership and maintenance he would be willing to donate the entire package. As far as I can recall, there were no further efforts from the List-at-large to take over the site.

BenT
