Subject: Alloy wheel caps and a ?
Content-type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

(1) Does anyone have an extra hub cap or two for the optional alloy Vanagon wheels circa late 1980s? It's the plastic, brushed silver cap that's about the size of a one cup measuring cup. Please contact me off list if you can help.

(2) Symptom: Left turn signal flashes twice as fast as the right turn signal and, from time to time, the left front turn signal doesn't work at all. The back turn signal consistently works. What I've done: Replaced left front turn signal socket, cleaned all connectors, replaced BOTH front and rear turn signal bulbs. The bulbs were verified to be working bulbs. Now I'm thinking it might have something to do with the turn signal arm on the steering wheel column. Any suggestions?

Thanks for your assistance, Greg 86.5 Syncro Weekender

PS Was on this List for several years starting in the 90s. Just bought back my Syncro Westy from the person I sold it to five years ago, so I'm back on the list. Nice to be back.

Hope the moderator issue gets sorted out - it was always a very friendly community.
