The PO of my Westy ran a CB and the antenna mount is still there.  It's a 6"x6" piece of sheetmetal screwed to the floor of the luggage rack (left front corner) to which the magnetic antenna base was stuck.  She said it worked fine, but it depends on how else you use your luggage rack.  I can post a pic if anyone is interested.   Stephen

I've wanted to mount a CB in my van for a long time.....but what I'm lost on is not where to mount the radio, instead I'm lost on how and where to mount a CB antenna that would actually allow the radio to work.

I have my Cobra (looks like the one in your link) mounted to the plastic heater duct that runs from the dash to the floor. The face of the CB faces upward and slightly to the rear making it easy to see and to reach.

Should you decide to put yours there, remove the duct first as there are ridges on the reverse side that could get in the way. I drilled my bracket's mounting holes between those ridges.
