Subject: Need AFM adapter so different aircleaner or cold air intake can
              be used
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

As the subject says... I have 2.0 inline-4 VW conversion in my Doka. The AFM has been giving me problems for various reasons. I suspect one problem is the Digifant AFM was plastic welded onto a stock Golf airbox. The welding job was not exactly the greatest. This is the way it came in the used conversion package.

I have seen K&N cone filters on other Vanagons with Digifant but can't recall who makes them. These should be the same ones used on Golfs and Jettas. I have seen the ones on Ebay but those are for the later model AFM's. The one I need adapts the square intake of the Vanagon AFM to a round tube on a K&N or similar system. The common Ebay variety goes from round tube to round tube.

Looking for leads either new or used.

TIA,

-- BenT
