Yes, Jim. You need a suitable drift punch to drive it out. Once that is gone, you can pull of the arm. Take care that you don't let that tension spring fly out. In a pinch you can use an old drill bit of appropriate size to drive out the roll pin. Nails are not suitable because they have pointed tips which can expand the top of roll pin as you try to drive it out. If you must use a nail, grind the tip flat first. Most nails this size are finishing nails which are quite soft. I would not be surprised if ou did not bent it a few times during the operation. This is why I prefer to use old drill bits for that purpose as a substitute for the drift.
