Good point. I have other reasons to want to get rid of the big box. A local
parts guy here has a crate full
of those TD airboxes.

No need, that is what is in there now. I assume you mean Jetta TD since the
TDi did not show up in VW's
here until circa 1996.

I wanted. David Marshall aapparently still has some that he had made or made
himself for sale. The Vanagon airbox is taking up too much space in my
engine compartment
