I have a Lucas high-mounted brake light on the inside of the rear window of
my '84 and a Chevy Astro unit mounted on top of the '86's Westy roof.  They
both work well but the Astro one is much more visible.  You can see some

I actually picked up a new Lucas kit at Value Village for a couple of
dollars and am holding it in reserve....
