Jim,

Check the door pin/knob first. By that I mean the thing that you pull on to unlock the door. Frequently, they get pulled up too high and the lower edge gets caught in the edge of the hole. Line that up with the hole and see if it will go down. Secondly, remember to close the door first. The driver's side lock will only lock if you close the door first. That keeps you from locking yourself in.
