holy crap batman, is that really a hole clean through someone foot in the ankle area ? and the black fur pulled back to reveal bloody flesh..is that on the bear, or a human or what ? and is that a bear-killed white wolf ?? I did read this interesting thing recently.......................... One well-known tactic to use with Grzzly's in an attack, is to play dead. you curl up in a fetal position, cover the back of your head and neck with your hands........that's after being charged and knocked down, swiped at etc. BUT......for black bears ........if one attacks you, the advice is to fight back with everything you have..... that a black bear, once really onto attacking you, wants to kill you, and playing dead won't help......... where a girzzly is likely to loose ( hopefully ) ..........loose interest in you. your bear mileage may very . there is an exception to every bear 'rule' of course.......but I thought this interesting, plausable, and worth passing on. People have been drug out of tents...........and killed and eaten by bears, here and there. Wowsers.
